'To perform ballet back home is a dream come true'
A world-renowned ballerina has said coming back to Northern Ireland to perform is a dream come true.
Melissa Hamilton from Dromore in County Down is a First Soloist of The Royal Ballet in London.
The 35-year-old is performing a special Ballet Gala in Belfast's Grand Opera House this weekend.
The showcase will include excerpts from ballet classics such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Giselle.
"To be able to bring world-class ballet to Belfast is just incredible," she told BBC News NI.
