Paul Bristow reacts to losing Peterborough seat

Former Peterborough MP Paul Bristow said he was disappointed to have lost his seat.

Labour candidate Andrew Pakes was elected, having received 118 more votes than the incumbent.

Speaking to the BBC after the result was announced, he conceded the Conservative Party had "made some real mistakes".

He also said he hoped those responsible would "apologise to the many candidates and MPs who have lost".
