Beavers reintroduced after 400-year gap welcome babies
Beavers that were introduced to a county after a 400-year absence for the species have had babies.
Eight adult beavers were released by the Wildlife Trust in Northamptonshire into the 17-hectare (42 acre) fenced area in February.
The kits were captured on camera at the enclosure at Rushden Lakes in Northamptonshire earlier this month.
Ben Casey, from the trust, said it was a "real landmark moment for nature restoration in the county".
