Community works together to paint huge city mural
Hundreds of people are contributing to a project designed to brighten up a city street.
The Gloucester Brick Project involves members of the community painting their own artwork on individual bricks which make up the artwork on Westgate Street.
A huge mural of 1,500 bricks featuring words and pictures representing the people and the city is close to completion ahead of its launch on 12 October.
Passers-by of all ages still have the chance to get involved in the project, which founder Dan Petley hopes will “represent the people and culture of this great city”.
