Rainfall well above average in parts of the West

Levels of rainfall well above the September average have been recorded in parts of the West.

Some areas of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire have seen almost three times the average amount of rain for the month.

The Met Office has issued further flood warnings for the weekend.

BBC Points West weather presenter Ian Fergusson said people in some areas can expect another spell of "possibly disruptive rain" on Sunday.
