Sausage dogs take over beach for charity walk

More than 1,000 sausage dogs have taken part in a group walk to raise money for charity.

As well as attracting dog lovers from around the UK, the Southwold Sausage Walk drew people from as far afield as the US.

The event is partly aimed at raising awareness and funds to combat intervertebral disc disease, common in sausage dogs due to their long bodies.

One owner said it was a "great way to meet lots of other people, talk 'sausage dog talk' and share tips".MPA four pars
