Tigray: Ethiopia denies Mekelle strikes targeted civilians

Ethiopia's federal authorities have denied reports that civilians were targeted during air strikes in the capital of the Tigray region. They said the operation was against "specific critical TPLF targets".

A deadly airstrike on Tuesday killed two people and injured others in Mekelle. It is not yet clear who carried it out.
