‘The drum is the soul of the community’

Gambian drummer Seneke Sillah has been teaching in London for several years.

People come to his classes for many reasons, to have fun, to relax and even to help deal with their mental health issues.

He has been passionate about the instrument since he was a child, and is well versed in its traditional uses.
