Afcon: From Accra to Abidjan, 14 hours to see Ghana's Black Stars

Are these Ghana’s biggest football fans?

Nana Adusei, a female mechanic, and a group of Black Star fans drove 14 hours to watch Ghana’s opening game at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. They travelled from Accra to Abidjan for the game versus Cape Verde.

It may have been a loss for the Black Stars, but it was a win for the Wave The Flag movement. Nana set up the group to raise awareness around safety and visas for travelling around Africa.

Punchers, vuvuzelas and attiéké… we followed their journey.
