MH17: 'Dismay' as Ukraine search for victims is suspended

Australia is holding a national day of mourning for the 38 Australian citizens and residents who died when Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down on 17 July in eastern Ukraine.

On Wednesday, the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said it was too dangerous to continue the search in Ukraine for victims' remains because of fighting between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian rebels. He said work would resume when it was safe to do so.

Phil Mercer reports from Sydney.
