Hong Kong campaigner Lee: 'No concessions, no discussions'

Protesters in Hong Kong have accepted an offer of talks with the government after a week of unrest but it is not clear when the talks will take place.

There is widespread anger that Beijing may have violated the spirit of the agreements it has made with Hong Kong and intense debate over whether it has broken the letter of the law.

One of Hong Kong's leading pro-democracy campaigners, the founding chairman of the Democratic Party, Martin Lee, says China is violating the constitution of Hong Kong and talks are "meaningless" unless Hong Kong's chief executive is allowed by Beijing to make concessions.
