US general: N Korea 'would be stupid to provoke the world’

The US Army's Pacific commander Gen Robert B Brown has told the BBC that North Korea "would be stupid to provoke the world" over its missile programme.

It follows weeks of heated rhetoric from both North Korea and the US over North Korea's missile programme.

North Korea is believed to be attempting to develop nuclear weapons that can strike the US.
