Johnson: 'Although we have left EU, we remain attached to Europe'

The post-Brexit trade deal reached by the UK and the EU ends months of disagreements over fishing rights and future business rules.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said at a Downing Street press conference that although arguments had been "fierce" it was a "good deal for the whole of Europe", driving jobs and prosperity.

The UK left the EU at the end of January, but remains under its trading rules until 31 December.
