Motorcycle patrols return to Guernsey roads

  • Published

Motorcycle patrols will return but the force's diving team will be scrapped, Guernsey Police have said.

It follows a five-month review by Chief Officer Patrick Rice, who took up the post in August.

Mr Rice's plans to get more officers on the beat include a neighbourhood police team aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour on a parish level.

The restructure, due to take effect from the end of the month, also sees the end of school liaison officers.
