It is hoped that a final decision on plans for Guernsey Airport's redevelopment will be made an October.

Planning permission is the final step needed before work can start after the States agreed the £80m budget in July.

The work includes upgrades to the runway, taxiways and landing lights.

A public consultation on the proposals closed on Friday and a provisional date of the 18 October has been set for an open planning meeting to discuss the proposals.
