Longue Rue House care home is closed over sickness

A residential home on Guernsey has been closed to visitors following an outbreak of sickness.

The States of Guernsey's Longue Rue House was closed after several residents started suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea

Residents have been advised to remain within the home and not to visit family members or attend community events.

The States said it was aware of the inconvenience of closing the home but wanted to contain the illness.
