Condor Ferries has cancelled its high-speed services between Weymouth, Jersey and Guernsey, blaming poor weather.

Services will be out of action until Wednesday when there will be a review.

The firm said customers had been individually contacted and rebooked onto the conventional ferry service from Portsmouth.

The forecast for the Channel Islands on Monday afternoon was for winds up to 40mph overnight increasing to nearly 50mph by Tuesday morning.
