Flybe adds Luton to Guernsey route

Airline operator Flybe has been given a licence to fly from Guernsey to Luton Airport.

But a spokesperson for the Exeter-based company said the airline had "no plans to start a schedule to Luton this summer".

The low-cost airline was granted its licence by the Commerce and Employment Department on 13 January.

Travel expert Vaughan Davis said: "A better option would be the introduction of a service to London City."
