Isle of Man government reviews advertising budget

  • Published

The Isle of Man government is to review its local newspaper advertising budget.

The move follows questions by Eddie Lowey over the cost of placing notifications and job vacancies.

Recent figures show expenditure in this area to have exceeded £380,000 over the last 18 months.

My Lowey said: "This is a substantial sum of money and it would be improper of us, when we are examining everything else in our budget, not to scrutinise this area of spending."
