Isle of Man youth alcohol safety campaign launched

Island health officials have launched a Christmas campaign designed to raise awareness of alcohol misuse.

It is hoped the initiative, called "It's up to me to know where to draw the line", will help people stay safe.

It highlights the importance of people taking responsibility by knowing their own alcohol limit.

Director of Public Health, Dr Kishore said: "We particularly want to encourage people to look after themselves and their friends."

He added: "This will hopefully draw attention to the issues associated with alcohol misuse, in order that the young and old can enjoy safer nights out during this festive season."
