Isle of Man roadworks to cause traffic disruption

  • Published

Drivers in the Isle of Man are being warned of major roadworks which could cause traffic disruption and delays in the east of the island.

The scheme begins in Onchan on 23 July and aims to improve the roads, pavements and traffic lights.

It is due to start on the 23 July and finish around the middle of December.

A spokesman said the work would be carried out in four phases, the first of which will close Avondale Road between Stoney Road and the main road.

He added: "During this period access to and from businesses will be maintained, as will pedestrian access to all properties."
