The route will take walkers to Jersey, Sark, Herm, Guernsey and Alderney.

A new coastal walk connecting all of the Channel Islands has been created.

The walk, called the Channel Islands Way, took five years to put together and was developed with Jersey Blue Badge guide Arthur Lamy.

It combines 115 miles (185km) of the coastlines of the islands, designed to encourage island-hopping.

The course is planned to be launched by the islands' tourist authorities jointly in the spring.

Jersey Tourism said the walk was made up of two to four-mile sections with a car park, bus stop, toilet and cafe or pub at each end.
