Condor cancel sailing so ferry can be repaired

Condor Ferries has put on an extra sailing next Thursday to Poole.

It replaces a scheduled Condor Express ferry to Weymouth, which was cancelled because the vessel needed essential repairs.

Condor Ferries managing director Simon Edsall said he was confident there would not be a repeat of the problems that affected services last year.

Last summer technical issues led to delays and cancellations on all three of Condor's ferries.

Mr Edsall said: "We apologise for any inconvenience but we have obviously tried to do all we can to minimise the impact."
