A Jersey hotel which specialises in holidays for people with disabilities has been given £20,000 by the Christmas lottery.
The Association of Jersey Charities, which raises funds from the Channel Island Christmas lottery, gave the money to Maison Des Landes.
Bob Gaiger, from the St Ouen hotel, said the money would be used to develop its first self-catering accommodation.
He said: "This hotel is a fantastic jewel in the crown for Jersey."
Mr Gaiger said that hotel had been operating in the island for the past 40 years.
He said: "What's interesting about the disabled holiday market is that people are no longer prepared to accept something that is not quite as good as something available to able bodied people."
The final jackpot in the Channel Island Christmas lottery reached £751,500 and was won by someone in Jersey but is still unclaimed.
