Jersey airport introduces parking swipe cards
- Published
Drivers are now able to use pre-paid swipe cards to exit Jersey Airport's car park.
The cards have been created following complaints from customers about queues to pay for parking within the arrival terminal.
With a minimum £20 needing to be loaded on to the cards, Alan Donald, from Jersey Airport, said it was not about saving money.
Mr Donald said: "It is a time-saving element, not a money-saving element."
He said: "Rather than having to cue up at pay stations once they have travelled they just go up to the barrier, swipe the card and the barrier will come up."
