Fog causes disruption at Jersey Airport

Fog and very poor visibility has caused flight disruption at Jersey Airport.
The mail and newspaper aircraft was delayed and there were no inter-island flights earlier. Some flights were cancelled and some delayed.
A Jersey Airport spokesman said: "At this time it is not possible to state when this [weather] will improve to allow flying to commence.
"However departing passengers are expected to either contact their airline or check-in on time."
He said early morning departures to Gatwick, Southampton and London City did depart as the aircraft were in Jersey overnight.
