Olympic Memories: James Cracknell winning gold in 2000 and 2004

Ever wondered what it's like to take part in an Olympic games? Well some of the country's best athletes have been telling Newsround about just what it takes to compete in the biggest sporting event in the world.

At both the Sydney games in 2000 and Athens in 2004, James Cracknell had very tough finals as part of Team GB's coxless fours rowing team.

The first time around his team-mate was Sir Steve Redgrave who was hoping to get his fifth - yes fifth - gold medal in the race, so the pressure was on James to help him out!
