Going behind the scenes at the Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament in London is where huge decisions are made that affect all of our lives.

The building has two parts, the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

In the Commons, Members of Parliament (MPs) have been elected to represent people in different parts of the UK.

They often belong to different teams, called political parties, with different ideas for running the country.

And with different ideas, there are sometimes arguments...

Ricky was joined by Chimaobi and Lily to go behind the scenes and interview the Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, whose job it is to keep order when politicians disagree.
