Wild boar row over Forest of Dean cull plan

Wild boars were hunted to extinction in our countryside centuries ago. Now they're back in the Forest of Dean, on the border of England and south Wales - but not everyone is happy about it.

When they forage for food, the animals destroy anything in their path, tearing up lawns as they looks for acorns and beech nuts.

Boars breed very quickly and have no natural predators.

So to keep the population under control, the Forestry Commission is planning a cull of the animals this autumn.

But others think the boars are something to celebrate.
