Here's why the Lionesses will be even better in the future

The next generation of female England players will likely be even better than the current Lionesses team.

That's according to goalkeeping legend Mary Earps and former captain Steph Houghton.

They say the standard of players has been getting better over the past few years, and are looking forward to seeing even more talent come through in future Lionesses squads

The FA has said that since the team's Euro 2022 win, there have been half a million more opportunities for girls to play football in England and all this is having an impact.
