Cycle helmet made with PAPER and inspired by woodpecker
A cycle safety helmet that's made using PAPER has been invented.
And get this - the creator Anirudha Surabhi took inspiration from a woodpecker for the design!
He found that a woodpecker has an area between its beak and skull designed to stop the bird from getting a headache when pecking away.
So he decided to copy this zone using paper, creating a double layer that looks like honeycomb.
The idea is that the little pockets act like tiny airbags, which protect the wearer's head if they fall.
