Sir Alex Ferguson 'sitting up and talking' following brain haemorrhage

Sir Alex Ferguson is sitting up and talking to his family following emergency surgery over the weekend for a brain haemorrhage, according to media reports.
The 76-year-old was rushed to hospital on Saturday for emergency treatment. A brain haemorrhage is a very serious condition and can be very dangerous if it isn't dealt with immediately.
Following the surgery, Manchester United released a statement saying the operation had "gone very well" but that he now needed time to recover.
Many football players such as Wayne Rooney, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo shared pictures and words of encouragement on Twitter and Instagram.
Now, the Mail Online has reported that the the ex-Manchester United manager has come out of a coma and is showing promising signs of recovery.
Sir Alex is considered to be the most successful manager in the history of British football, having won 38 trophies during more than 26 years in charge of Manchester United. This included 13 Premier League titles.
