Royal Mail's Christmas stamps tend to be designed by artists around the UK and depict wintry scenes.

Last year, the stamps had illustrations of UK cathedrals in the snow and this year, it's the Nativity.

David Gold of Royal Mail, said: "For many people, once the Christmas stamps go on sale, the seasonal preparations can begin.

"There's something truly magical about this time of year, and these stamps capture that spirit perfectly."
