Cool facts about the periodic table

The periodic table is a really important part of science.

It's a system for arranging all of the chemical elements, such as hydrogen, silver and copper, that we have discovered so far.

Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev invented it 150 years ago.

To mark the milestone the United Nations has decided that 2019 is the international year of the periodic table of chemical elements!
