Kids take tour of cool science ship

Welcome to the ship that's famous for making one of the most important science discoveries in recent years.

The RRS Discovery was responsible for finding out there was a hole in the ozone layer - part of the Earth's atmosphere that shields it from the Sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.

And now Newsround's been on board for a special behind the scenes tour to find out what else it's looking into.

Leah took a tour with some science mad kids to find out what life is like onboard.
