Aurora borealis: Amazing Northern Lights display in Finland

Watch an amazing natural display in the night sky in Finland, northern Europe.

It's known as the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights.

This spectacular sight lasted for hours, with green, pink, purple and white lights.

Spring is one of the best times to see the northern lights because of increased solar wind activity.

It's a great sight to see but the powerful rays can in fact interfere with airline navigation systems, satellites and even NASA space crews.
