Kids get their work on to International Space Station

Six pupils will have an experiment they designed sent to the International Space Station (ISS) and used by astronauts working up there.

The girls from Texas, America, went up against thousands of other students, many a lot older than them, in a big science competition.

Their experiment, about how to get rid of bacteria in space, won the top prize.

They now can't wait until astronauts up in the space station start to use the experiment they designed.
