UK weather forecast: Will it be hot? What is a Spanish plume?

It's a hot and humid week to come for parts of the UK with the possibility of record-breaking temperatures, according to the Met Office.

It's all because of a special weather pattern called a Spanish Plume.

But what is it, how does it form and is it all good news?
