Teenager Luke Littler has one big wish for the New Year - to become the youngest darts world champion in history.
The 16-year-old from Warrington in Cheshire has smashed several records on his way to reaching the quarter-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship, the biggest tournament in the sport.
He made it through to the last eight by beating five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld at Alexandra Palace in London.
Littler, who sat his GCSEs just six months ago, wasn't even born when his idol Van Barneveld won his fifth world title.
"Unbelievable. I don't know what to say," Littler said after his 4-1 win.
He will now face Northern Ireland's Brendan Dolan on New Year's Day for a place in the semi-finals.
Who is Luke Littler?
At the age of 16, Littler is the youngest player to reach the last eight of the world championships.
He started playing darts when he was just 18 months old when his parents bought him a magnetic board.
He said: "There's a video on YouTube of me when I was 18 months in a nappy listening to Raymond van Barneveld's music and doing his celebrations."
Littler moved on to a big darts board when he was five and he has never looked back, winning lots of tournaments at all age levels.
He is also the current world youth champion but will be hoping to add the senior world title to his trophy cabinet in the next week.
