The Hindu festival of Holi was celebrated by many people around the world this week.

It's known as the festival of colour, and it marks the beginning of spring, celebrating new life and love.

Celebrations often include throwing coloured powder and water on one another.

Holi is celebrated on the last full moon of the lunar month. This year the festival started on March 14.
