King Charles III, Queen Camilla and UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer have come together for a special remembrance event to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day
VJ Day - or Victory over Japan Day - is the name given to the day on 15 August 1945 when Japan surrendered, bringing the Second World War to a complete end.
80 years on, many people gathered for a special commemoration at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, to remember the soldiers who fought in the war.
In an audio message released before the service, the King vowed that those who fought and died in the Pacific and Far East "shall never be forgotten".
There was a flypast by the Red Arrows, a ceremony where poppy wreaths were laid, and people shared stories of their time during the war.
