Aberdeen theatre group do a show... for their teddies!

A youth theatre group in Scotland has performed their latest show to a very special audience.

But it wasn't in front of parents, grandparents or siblings... it was for their cuddly toys.

Aberdeen Youth Music Theatre brings together more than 120 kids from the north east of Scotland to perform.

Right now the group are rehearsing the play Me and My Girl at the Tivoli theatre in Aberdeen.

The cast filmed a video of the teddies all in their seats and shared it on social media.

And it seemed the special audience show was fun, but it also helped with nerves too.

"I thought it would be a good idea for our cast to do it, as for some of us it's our last show... but at the same time it's some people's first show, so it's important we get to share these moments together." said one of the children involved.

"It gave everyone the chance to feel more comfortable and excited for the show since our teddies have been there for us since we were very little."
