How these children are celebrating Eid al-Fitr

Millions of Muslims around the world are preparing for the end of the holy month of Ramadan - a time when those who follow the Islamic faith don't eat or drink between dawn and sunset.

Fasting is important during Ramadan as Muslims believe it allows them to focus on their faith and become closer to Allah, or God.

Eid-al-Fitr means 'festival of the breaking of the fast' and is being celebrated this weekend, these children told us what they have planned.
