Archie, who's seven, has a passion for farming.

But he doesn't want to be just any farmer, he wants to have one million chickens and be famous.

His plucky adventure started with just five hens in his family garden, but very soon they needed more space.

With help from his family, Archie now looks after a 50 hen flock in a rented field near their house in Essex.

Archie started his eggsperiment when he learned about the conditions that some commercial chickens - who are bred for eggs and meat - are kept in, and he wanted to do something to help.

Archie is also saving up for his own farm by selling the hens' eggs at a nearby deli.

He wants to have pigs and alpacas, and even more feathered friends like geese and ducks.

But for now, Archie is happy taking care of his 50 chickens, like Nugget (his favourite hen), Pecky Blinder and Dolly Parthen.

Best of cluck Archie!
