Baby giraffe cousins born at Australian wildlife park

Mogo Wildlife Park in New South Wales, Australia, is celebrating two super-cute new arrivals.
Two baby giraffe cousins have been born, just days apart, in what a zookeeper said were "rare" and "perfect" births.
The pair, whose mothers are sisters, were born at the end of December 2024 - during the night - which keepers said was a rare event as giraffes normally give birth during the daytime.
The wildlife park has now asked the public to suggest some names for the cute cousins.

The cousins are getting used to being with the rest of the herd
The cousins might be just babies but they are still giraffes... so they are already TALL.
Both weighed 90kg at birth and are already two metres tall.
After their births, they were both up on their legs and walking around within an hour - but it took them a while to get steady!
"The first steps are the funniest to watch, because imagine your first steps having to be on stilts," keeper Chad Staples told ABC News Australia.
"It's quite comical, there's lots of stumbling and falling!"
