England booed by fans, despite topping Euros group

England finished top of their group in the European Championship after a goalless draw against Slovenia - but the performance was booed by fans.
The Three Lions - that's the nickname for the England men's team - were already through to the knockout stage of the tournament before the game.
England manager Gareth Southgate said he understands why some of the fans have been unhappy with the results so far.
But, he said he is "very proud of the players" for how they are dealing with the negative response from fans.

Some fans might be upset by the recent performances, but there is some good news for England heading into the knockout stage.
Results elsewhere in the tournament mean that they avoid a lot of the other strong teams in the knockouts.
Spain, Germany, Portugal and France are all on the other side of the draw, so England can't play any of those teams before the final.
England still need to win three knock-out games to earn a spot in the final though - the last 16 match, quarter-final and semi-final.
Who will England play in the Euro 2024 knockout stage?
Next up, England will play one of the four best third-placed teams from Groups D, E, or F in the last 16.
England's opponent will be decided on Wednesday.
But when and where England will next, is much more straight forward, they will play one of those teams in Gelsenkirchen in Germany on Sunday.
