US President Donald Trump has been visiting Israel and Egypt on an important trip about Gaza.
It's because the US government has been heavily involved in the agreement to pause fighting between Israel and Hamas, which is called a ceasefire.
The ceasefire started over the weekend and now President Trump is meeting with other world leaders, to talk about a long-term agreement for peace.

Who is at the peace talks in Egypt?

There was a ceasefire earlier this year but it lasted for less than two months.
So to try and make sure this ceasefire lasts, more than 20 world leaders are meeting in Sharm el-Sheikh, in Egypt.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Trump, the president of France Emmanuel Macron and the president of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas are all there.
However the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is not participating in the meeting, his office said he could not attend "due to the timing's proximity to the beginning of (a Jewish) holiday".
What is being discussed?

President Trump is co-leading the peace talks with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi
The war is not officially over but both sides have agreed to a temporary pause in fighting.
The talks will focus on trying to create a long-term plan for peace, and will be led by President Trump and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The aim of the meeting is to agree on the next phase of the peace deal to try to end the war in Gaza.
However, Hamas is yet to agree to all the parts of President Trump's peace plan, so this goal might not be straight forward.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has already thanked the United States, Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye for their part in the negotiations so far.
He says his focus is to "work together to implement President Trump's peace plan for Gaza" and to help build the foundations for "a sustainable path to a long-term peace".
President Trump speaks in Israel's parliament

Earlier President Trump spoke at Israel's parliament, the Knesset.
It was an important moment because a US president hasn't spoken there since 2008.
In his speech, President Trump said he believes this is a day of "profound joy", because hostages are able to have the "glorious embrace of their families" again.

Other members of Israel's parliament also made speeches and thanked Donald Trump.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, gave his thanks to President Trump, and said he will be "inscribed in the history of our nation".
Another member of the Israeli parliament, Amir Ohana, called him "the President of Peace" and says he wants to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize next year.
