Feast your eyes on this eggs-traordinary world record!

Two food content creators from London have broken the Guinness World Record for the largest scotch egg.
If you've never had the pleasure of eating a scotch egg, it's a boiled egg surrounded by sausage meat and cooked in breadcrumbs.
Weighing in at nearly 7.8kg and measuring a circumference of 79.5cm, the big picnic snack is as heavy as and bigger than a bowling ball!
Oliver Paterson and Phoenix Ross broke the 17-year long record that had been set at 6.2kg by speciality egg producer Clarence Court.

A regular kitchen knife wasn't big enough to cut through their creation
It took the pair a week to get it right after their first attempt collapsed before they could even cook it.
For their creation to count, the egg's yolk needed to stay intact once it was cut open so Oliver and Phoenix decided an ostrich egg would be able to withstand the pressure.
The egg was so big and strong, they needed a hammer to break open the shell to peel it as well as a sword to do the actual cutting.
Phoenix said: "I felt a little anxiety before it was open – a slight bit of tension – as the egg had to be intact. As soon as we sliced it open, we knew at that moment we had got it."
Of course, no food was wasted. The pair turned the scotch egg into burritos after taking a bite for themselves.
