World's longest cable-stayed bridge in numbers

The Changtai Yangtze River Bridge in China, which is believed to be the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world, is now fully connected.
A cable-stayed bridge is a structure where the main bridge deck is held up by lots of cables connected to one or more supporting towers.
The Changtai Yangtze River Bridge, which recently saw its closing section inserted, is expected to open to traffic at the end of April 2025.

That's the total length of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge which connects the cities of Changzhou and Taizhou in the Chinese province of Jiangsu.

The Changtai Yangtze River Bridge includes 5.3 kilometres of road sections for vehicles and rail sections for trains. It's the first structure of its kind to include a highway, normal roads and a railway connecting two cities over the Yangtze River.
