Jess was one of the world record day champions
Over in the US, Jessica Martinez took the title of the world's largest female afro, with her hair measuring 29cm tall, 31cm wide, and 190cm all the way round.
Jess said that it was a huge moment for her, all part of her journey of loving her natural hair.
She said that for "little girls and boys who have textured hair, I think that it's really important that they can know that their hair is beautiful just the way it is."
